15 kW 100 V PMSM Traction Drive
engineered end-to-end.
A compact 15 kW traction inverter for 100 V-class electric vehicle batteries. The drive is built as a modular three-board stack: an insulated-metal-substrate (IMS) power stage with five MOSFETs in parallel per switch, a six-layer gate-drive and DC-link board with the capacitor bank, and a separate controller card running field-oriented control. Copper phase and battery posts exit through the lid for clean top-side cabling, Hall-effect sensors on the bus bars measure current, fast hardware protection covers over-current and short circuits, and a hardware pre-charge circuit protects the DC link at power-up. The same electronics fit an air-cooled or a liquid-cooled enclosure.

Electronics first.
System thinking throughout.
PMSM field-oriented control · automotive-grade microcontroller · 30 × MOSFET IMS power stage · Hall-effect current sensing · isolated CAN · air or liquid cooling
